R.A.D. "Dunny" Morton, MD

1932-2024

We are sad to announce the death of R.A.D. “Dunny” Morton, MD, a former member of the TMLT Board of Trustees. He died on July 22, 2024, in El Paso. 

 

A native of El Paso, Dr. Morton graduated from The Tulane School of Medicine. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York and completed a fellowship in head and neck surgery at Bellevue in New York.

 

“One his most meaningful appointments was to the Texas Medical Liability Trust in 1981-1997. Here he advocated for physicians and medical practice insurance throughout Texas. During his time on the board he met some of his dearest friends. He participated in the original structure and mission of TMLT providing significant leadership during his tenure.”
