Austin, TX — Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) announced today that the Board of Governors voted to dedicate $10 million to the Trust Rewards Program for 2016. These funds are the Board’s way of rewarding policyholders for their loyalty. The 2016 allocation brings the Trust Rewards total to $175 million.

The Trust Rewards Program serves as a financial reward for policyholders. Funds are set aside annually for eligible policyholders in their Trust Rewards accounts. The funds are distributed to policyholders at the time of retirement or other qualifying event.

“We continue to offer policyholder benefits that are unchanged and unmatched by any other carrier. The $10 million allocation is just one of many ways we reward our policyholders,” says TMLT President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Donohoe.

This latest allocation is in addition to other industry-leading benefits, including cyber liability and Medefense coverage. TMLT also provides policyholders with tools and services needed to enhance patient safety and prevent medical liability claims.
