The news
Austin, TX — Physicians now have a new way to earn CME and a risk management discount from TMLT. Case Closed Volume 5, the Trust's newest closed claim study book, is now available in hard copy or as a Kindle eBook. The book features 53 studies based on actual TMLT claims.
Physicians can earn 4 hours of CME — including 1 ethics hour — by completing the CME activity included in Case Closed. TMLT policyholders who complete this activity will earn a 3% premium discount (maximum $1,000) applied at their next eligible policy period.
TMLT's popular Case Closed books — now available in 5 volumes — contain closed claim studies based on actual claims. These studies illustrate how actions by physicians led to allegations of professional liability, and how risk management techniques may have either prevented the outcome or increased the physician's defensibility.
TMLT policyholders can complete the CME activity for free. The cost for non-TMLT policyholders is $100. The activity can be completed at the TMLT web site.
